Beach Home And Vacation Rentals

Can I get married on the beach for a vacation rental?

My sister plans to marry on a beach on the southern coast of North Carolina. She think Bald Head Island, which I think is also close to some other beach towns, but is open to other seaside resorts. She wants the ceremony to be really easy, just a small ceremony on the beach (we are bringing a couple of beach chairs to large parents), but not great or something. We try to keep the cost down, so I thought I could rent a holiday home, the beach and use the area between the house and the beach for the wedding. Is this normal, or do we need a city permit? Is there any difference if the property is private or not? In addition, suggestions on many beaches around this area? Thanks for the help!

Sounds like a great idea! There are two things to consider here: 1) Do local laws and statutes or regulations permit such a thing? 2) If so, the owner House is okay with that? First, you have to decide where to go to your wedding. If you're really interested in a lease, try to Owner Vacation Rentals. I've been using for years and have never had bad experiences. They have many options here in North Carolina: http://www.ownerdirect.com/lodging/usa/northcarolina/northcarolina.htm Once you have your place of origin, direct owner will contact the owner of the house, and easily can be asked, as you may know what is permitted and what is not. Hope everything works as you want! :)
