Colorado Vacation Rentals
i ammoving to Glenwood Springs, CO ,and need help…………?
i am moving to Glenwood springs area in Colorado in a couple weeks,.If there is anyone who is from that area or knows about it, can you tell me about it? What is it like to live there, places to live, weather, jobs, schools, etc. I have been looking online for apartment complexes or rentals and have been having a hard time finding anything, mostly just vacation rentals. Any information that you can help us out with would be great.

I can tell you a little bit about it. Glenwood is a small town located in a high mountain valley on the Western slope of Colorado. Commerce is mostly centered around tourist trade. The Glenwood Hot Springs and nearby skiing are the main attractions. Most jobs will be centered around the tourist industry. Glenwood in the Colorado High Country so the weather is going to be cooler in summer and cold in winter. Aspen ski area is just up the road a piece so expect a fair amount of snow. It is a beautiful area of Colorado.
The best place to search for rentals and jobs on-line is CraigsList Western slope Colorado.
